Título: The EUT Method for Stochastic Problems in Power System Analysis
Resumo: In many problems in power system analysis there is considerable uncertainty or variability in the operating conditions or the system parameters. It is often more meaningful to treat the problem as stochastic and quantify the uncertainty in terms of the statistical parameters. This is particularly true for distribution systems with a high penetration of renewable generation with is known to have considerable variation in input power. This presentation describes the used of the Enhanced Unscented transforms (EUT) method as an efficient probabilistic load flow method and also for the estimation of other power quality indices such as harmonics and conducted emissions. The performance of the technique is demonstrated and compared with other techniques such as the point estimate method, the cumulant method and the Monte Carlo Simulation method.
